Grupo Ageas Portugal

Grupo Ageas Portugal is a leading insurance group offering life and non-life solutions. Part of the international Ageas Group, it operates through brands, focusing on innovation, customer-centric services, and sustainability to protect individuals and businesses.

Challenge

In recent years, work has undergone profound changes – remote work, emerging technologies, and an increasing focus on wellbeing. But, beyond these factors, the future of work is shaped by broader uncertainties, such as climate change, economic volatility, and geopolitical shifts. As Grupo Ageas Portugal aims to stay at the forefront of these changes, the need arose to develop a broader understanding of work, one that is integrated with other life factors and responsive to societal demands.

In the face of this increasingly complex and dynamic workspace landscape, Grupo Ageas Portugal sought guidance in navigating organizational culture transformation. The goal was to help the company thrive within future uncertainties by developing a future-ready workforce. By fostering new skills and empowering employees, the company aimed to create an inclusive, learning-oriented environment for continuous adaptable transformation.

Outcome

We delivered a dynamic, personalized model to Grupo Ageas Portugal – tailored to its values. This model serves as a guiding compass for the company to continually adapt to evolving future work scenarios, reflecting the interconnected nature of both the organization’s culture and society. It enables the company to confidently navigate uncertainties and position itself as an agile and ethical leader.

We combined internal insights with external perspectives to shape Grupo Ageas Portugal’s vision for the future of work. Through cultural diagnosis and co-creation, we identified key gaps, empowered employees, and designed a strategic roadmap for adaptability and innovation.

Our role and goal

Shaping the Future of Work with Regeneration, Adaptability and Innovation

We synthesized a vision for the future of work by combining internal insights and external perspectives, shaping a trajectory that aligns with Grupo Ageas Portugal’s identity as both an employer and an insurance provider. To support this vision, we conducted a cultural diagnosis, exploring the organization’s current state and assessing its readiness for the envisioned future by identifying gaps and opportunities for adaptation. Employees were actively engaged in shaping this future through the co-creation of strategic activities and initiatives, laying the groundwork for a clear roadmap. Additionally, our engagement team meticulously documented the process, preserving organizational memory and ensuring transparency.

Our goal was to assist Grupo Ageas Portugal in cultivating an organization culture capable of navigating future challenges with innovation, adaptability, and foresight, ensuring long-term sustainability and leadership in employee development.

Results

We recognized that creating a sustainable strategy requires an adaptive approach to navigating the unknown, adding intentionality to all decisions and actions.

The outcome of the project was a regenerative model – one that evolves and transforms based on different organizational movements. This model offers a dynamic blueprint, empowering Grupo Ageas Portugal to revisit and adapt strategies as needed. By continuously guiding the organization toward its future vision, this model ensures it stays at the forefront of change and can capitalize on emergent opportunities.
